Vice Minister Li Guo Meets with Foreign Customs Delegations Attending First Global Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference in Beijing

Mr. Li Guo meets with Subdirector General of the Customs Directorate General of Argentina

 

On February 9-10, Mr. Li Guo, Vice Minister of China Customs, attended the First Global Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference in Beijing and met with foreign Customs delegations. 

 

At the major forum of this Conference, Mr. Li Guo elaborated China Customs’ experiences in cross-border e-commerce control and service.

 

During the Conference, Mr. Li Guo held talks respectively with Samvel A. Avetikyan, the First Deputy Chairman of Armenia State Revenue Committee, Myroslav Prodan, Acting Chairman of State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Velma Ricketts Walker, Commissioner/CEO of Jamaica Customs Agency, Rafael Ernesto Contreras Hernández, Intendant of the National Integrated Service of Customs and Tax Administration of Venezuela, Javier Zabaljauregui, Subdirector General of the Customs Directorate General of Argentina and Belinda Ikonomi, Director General of Albanian Customs. 

 

At these meetings, views were exchanged on such issues as the “Belt and Road" Initiative, cross-border e-commerce, mutual recognition of AEOs, protection of intellectual property rights, capacity building, mutual administrative assistance and the development of the customs clearance system.
